Player Development is What we do Best

We understand what it takes to improve a player's skill level to help him reach the next level. Our trained Strike Force Instructors will coach all Instructional Fall Ball teams. Practice will be twice a week, with an instructional game doubleheader on the weekend. All players will be able to practice and play multiple positions during the 6-week program. Players will be placed on teams with their friends and summer teammates if possible. This must be indicated on the registration form. Strike Force Baseball Academy Fall Ball is about improving players' skill levels in all game phases. Each player will receive individual attention from our highly trained coaches and instructors. 


AGE GROUPS

Fall Ball consists of three age divisions 10U, 12U, and 14U. After registration, players will be split into Strike Force teams, and rosters and schedules will be posted on our website. The teams will compete in the Autumn Classic League against each other and other league teams. 

  • 10U (includes 8u,9u,and 10u players) (46/65)
  • 12U (includes 11u, 12u, advanced 10u players) (50/70)
  • 14U (Includes 13u,14u) (54/80, or 60/90)

Games and practices will be at Longwood ParkAway games will be played for teams 13 and up.

Normal Registration $349 

Diamond Boys 12 and Under: $250

Practice Format

Our Practices are designed to keep players learning while having as much fun as possible. We organize several stations covering multiple aspects of the game. Players are broken up into small groups keeping them moving and minimizing downtime between reps. More importantly, our practice format allows players to get work at the positions they want to get better at!

Practice Dates and Times

Practice will be every Tuesday and Thursday

Tuesday's: August 15th (Meeting Only/Unifrom Handout), 22nd, 29th | September 5th, 12th, 19th

Thursday's: August 17th, 24th, 31st | September 7th, 14th, 21st

Make-up dates will be used the week of September 18th-22nd and 25th-29th only if games still need to be played. We won't make up practices if the games are complete. 

 

 

 

 


Offensive Day (Inside)

All of our hitting Drills are designed to improve

  • Timing
  • Proper Swing Plane (importance of hands)
  • Bat Speed
  • Balance and control throughout the swing
  • Bottom half hip drive
  • Situational Hitting

Defensive Day (Outside)

We focus on the fundamental mechanics of

  • Throwing and Catching
  • Infield Feet and Hand drills
  • Outfield routes and Positioning drills
  • Pitching Mechanics
  • Situational Baseball, cuts and relays, communication drills, live drills
  • Speed and Agility Drills

10/12U Game Format

Games will be double headers on Saturdays for six weeks. Our trained coaching staff will focus on player development while putting the team in a position to compete. Players will have the opportunity to play at their primary position as well as the secondary position of their choice. This is the perfect opportunity for a player trying to expand their versatility on the field. Make-up games will be played in the second week of October.

10/12U Game Dates

Double Headers on Saturday

Game times will be announced when we have the number of kids and the number of teams in the league. Games can start at 8 am and can go to 4 pm, depending on when your team is scheduled for that day. Most games will be back-to-back, but games could be in between occasionally.

September 30th and October 7th will be held as make-up days. 

 


13/14U Game Format

Games will be double headers on Sundays or  Saturdays  for 6 weeks.  Our trained coaching staff will focus on player development while putting the team in a position to compete as a group. Teams will play in the SSBL. Players will have the opportunity to play at their primary position as well as their secondary position of their choice. This is the perfect opportunity for a player who is trying to expand their versatility on the field.

13/14U Game Dates

Double Headers on Saturdays or Sundays

August -October TBD at the league meeting

 

Refunds

We will not offer refunds for Strike Force Fall Ball, Credits can be given to use for other classes, and clinics.

Instructional League
